Shaun made his fourth visit to New Zealand in 2024 alongside Believe It Or Not to run six successful events, with $248,000 raised for various charities! Thanks to Shaun’s generosity, these events were run at a very low cost – what a guy!

This year, we are pushing the boat out and running eight events across the country! And once again, four members of the winning team at each event will take on the Dark Destroyer in a two minute Chase-style shootout!

In 2024, the jetlag was evident as Shaun lost the first four, we had to go to VAR to rule on a tie in the fifth, and he comfortably won the last one in Auckland by 27 seconds. All six Final Chases were close affairs – he lost the first three by just one question, and the fourth by three questions! Had he had known our Prime Minister’s name, he would have won the very first Chase as well mind you! Will he fare better this year?
